Om110 Snap Fix Rafter bar fitting guide

Measure and cut the aluminium bar and PVC capping to length. Place the aluminium bars onto the timber rafters and drill pilot holes into the glazing rebate (not the centre channel) approximately every 750mm starting 50mm from the eaves end. Screw fix the aluminium bars onto the timber rafters )screws not in the pack).

Measure the glazing size between the rebate up-stands and deduct 4mm for expansion. Cut the sheets to length and width,try to cut near a vertical wall to avoid a "floppy" edge. Fit the sheets into position and line up the pvc capping into the aperture of the aluminium bar. Using a mallet,tap the cap into the correct positions to clamp the sheets tightly.

Finally fix the end plate onto the end of the bar by screwing it into the pvc screw port with the screw/cap provided.
