A. The final design and materials proposed for a bespoke
conservatory roof by Omega will take into account relevant
extracts from the following British Standards and Building
Regulations.
BS6399 : Parts 1 & 3 Loading for Buildings.
BSCP3 : Chapter V : Part 2 Wind Loading.
BS5516 Sloping & Vertical Glazing.
BS6262 Glazing for Buildings.
Approved Document N of the Building Regulations
B. Great care will be taken to ensure the final design of a
conservatory roof is suitable for the purpose for which
it is intended. The type and strength of the glazing bars,
polycarbonate glazing and other roof elements will be selected
to take into account imposed wind and dead loads.
A partial safety factor of 1:20 is included to ensure the
integrity of the structure. Omega (Roofing) Plastics Ltd cannot
be held responsible for any failure of their product resulting
from site assembly of the roof however caused.

C. Please note it is the sole responsibility of the installer
to ensure that the receiving support structures e.g. dwarf
walls & base frames etc, are suitable for the purpose
for which they are intended. Omega (Roofing) Plastics Ltd
cannot be held responsible for the strength of these base
structures or fixings, which are outside their control.
