Omega (Roofing) Plastics Ltd has launched its Omega Solar Retrofit service,to solve the extremes of temperature in the conservatory. It is aimed at conservatory owners who have a polycarbonate roof. Solar Inserts are made from micro-thin,highly reflective film. They are inserted into the hollow chambers within the polycarbonate roof and reflect the heat before it even gets into the conservatory. It also allows the natural light to penetrate ensuring the conservatory remains bright and airy. Preventing up to 80% of the Sun's solar energy entering through the roof,the conservatory will keep cool in summer. A full survey will be carried out to assess suitability of the roof for the solar blinds. Omega's experienced team of fitters will clean teh conservatory roof and then fit the inserts inside the panles. There is a choice of four colours; silver,blue ,green and gold.
