“ We have seen demand from the general public grow dramatically for solar inserts over the last 3 months,” says Jane Fitzsimons from Omega Plastics. “People want to be able to use their conservatory year round and want an alternative to expensive roof blinds. Solar inserts are much more effective and can be retrofitted in to many polycarbonate roofs. Many customers don’t want the bother of fitting the inserts themselves and so have asked us for this service. We have experienced fitters who can refurbish the roof and fit the inserts. We also offer an agency service with blind and conservatory companies in the South West. They provide us with qualified leads for the retrofit service and we give them a substantial commission on successful completion. “
