The DIY Conservatory Roof Kit

This DIY Conservatory Roof Kit comes complete with all you will need for simple and easy installation of a lean-to conservatory roof. The Glazing Bars and polycarbonate sheets are supplied at specific lengths to simply be cut to your required size on site.

For the experienced DIYer this kit offers a quick solution and a high quality, attractive product once completed. 

Please note the projection quoted is the actual lengths of the glazing bars and panels. The actual horizontal projection achieved will vary depending on the angle the roof is fitted.

Each DIY Conservatory Roof Kit  includes:

• The required quantity of 25mm or 35mm Multiwall Polycarbonate Panels – Roof projection and Panel length:
  2.5m.
  3.0m.
  3.5m.
  The 25mm polycarbonate has a U value of 1.4 w/m2k and the 35mm a U value of 1.1 w/m2k.
• White Self Supporting Glazing Bars - Each bar pack includes a uPVC top cap, an aluminium bar with gaskets, end cap and base.
• White Edge Glazing Bar + Side Cloaking - Comes with uPVC top cap, gaskets and base. The side cloaking is for use when the edge is open rather than against a wall.
• White 5-10° Wall Plate + Pivot Bolts - Comes with gaskets and claddings. Pivot bolts are also supplied for fixing the bars to the wall plate and matching eaves beam. You will need 2 bolts per bar (one for each end).
• White Eaves Beam - Comes with gaskets and claddings. (see above regarding pivot bolts).
• White Gutter pack + Down Pipe - Comes with a 4m length of guttering, end cap, and clips to fix onto the eaves beam and 2.5m down pipe.
• White PVC Sheet Closures - These are used to protect and finish the bottom end of the polycarbonate sheet. They are fitted over the breather tape. It should be cut to fit between the glazing bar top-caps.
• Solid & Breather Tapes - Solid top tape is applied to the top edge of the sheets, and the breather is applied to the gutter end to prevent dirt, insects and dust entering the sheets.
