The customer wanted an elegant verandah to act as a Patio Cover to give them a sheltered outdoor space that they could enjoy throughout the year. They also wanted it to complement their home and well maintained garden.
The solution was an Omega Smart Elite6 canopy, glazed with clear 6mm plate polycarbonate with the anthracite grey framework with customised knee braces. This is based on the popular Smart Canopy6 but has concealed fixings and fittings to improve the sight lines.
Originally, Mr Sandwell considered getting a fitter. However, after studying the detailed fitting instructions before purchase, he decided to fit it himself. Omega cut it to size before shipping, making it quicker for the customer to fit. He decided to use 2 of the legs as down posts, and it soaks away into the lawn.
He is now very pleased with his fitted verandah canopy and can enjoy his patio in all weathers.
