Mr Bevan recently transformed the side of his home into a practical and stylish aluminium carport using our Smart Canopy16. Installed as a lean to carport, the structure provides reliable, year-round protection for his vehicle while making excellent use of a narrow driveway space.
Working independently, Mr Bevan chose the Smart Canopy16 as a carport kit solution thanks to its straightforward assembly and durable design. The robust aluminium frame paired with a polycarbonate canopy ensures a strong yet lightweight structure that allows natural light through while protecting against the elements.
A key feature of this installation was the need to adapt the canopy around existing wall fixtures. Mr Bevan successfully modified the frame to accommodate downpipes, neatly cutting away sections to ensure a clean, flush fit against the house wall—demonstrating the flexibility of our lean to canopies and polycarbonate carports for real-world applications.
