What is Smartframe Secondary Glazing?
Smartframe is a fixed secondary glazing system that mounts directly onto your existing window frame using precision fixings. It is ideal for:
- Thermal insulation upgrades
- Noise reduction glazing

The system includes the Smartframe base, finishing strips and fixing screws, allowing quick installation with standard tools.

Key Installation Steps
1. Measure your window opening
Measure width (A) and height (B) across the window reveal or desired fixing position. Ensure a minimum 22mm flat surface is available for fixing.
2. Cut Smartframe components
Cut to size based on your measurements. Choose:
- Butt joints (horizontal = A minus 44mm)
- Mitred corners (horizontal = full A dimension)
3. Prepare fixings
Drill clearance holes in the frame and pilot holes into the existing window. Fixings should be spaced approximately every 250mm.
4. Install glazing panel and frame
Insert the glazing panel into the Smartframe base, position onto the window and secure with screws. Finish by clipping on the Smartframe finishing strips.
