Magnetic Glazing Tape is used to fix 2-4mm polycarbonate as secondary glazing to an existing window frame.
The kit consists of:
· 12.7mm wide magnetic tape.
· 13mm steel tape (secures together with the magnetic tape).
· Both with double-sided adhesive tape to attach window frame and glazing.
The tapes are only 2mm thick.
This is an ideal solution where you do not want the secondary glazing to protrude too much.
The steel tape is white and is stuck to your window frame. The brown magnetic tape is available with a white backing and is stuck to your secondary glazing panel. We do not recommend using magnetic tape with glass or large panels due to its weight.
In order to calculate the size of glazing panel you must add 25mm to the internal dimensions of the window frame. It is important that there is a flat surface all the way round to ensure a good fit. Please ensure that all window furniture e.g. handles, stays, etc. fit within the recess.
The surface must be very smooth, high gloss and well cured paintwork.
Omega can also supply cut to size polycarbonate sheets for your secondary glazing.
It is supplied in:
· 5m, 15m or 30m lengths.

Delivery Charges
Delivery costs are shown in your shopping trolley before you complete your order. Prices shown apply to UK mainland only. Extra charges may apply for Isle of Wight and the Scottish Highlands.
Offshore Deliveries
We do not deliver offshore as standard. However, we can deliver to a shipper in the UK of your choice. Just contact our team to check.
Collections
If you would prefer to collect from our factory in North Devon that can be arranged. Just contact the office and we can agree a collection date.
Delivery Days
We usually deliver Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Estimated Delivery Dates
You’ll find an estimated delivery period on most product pages. We do our very best to meet these estimates, but please note they are not guaranteed.
Special Delivery requirements
If you have specific delivery requests, such as safe drop-off locations or business hours - please include these details in the notes section during checkout.
Order Cut-Off Times
Orders placed after 10am, at weekends, or on a Bank Holiday will be processed on the next working day. Please keep this in mind if timing is important.

Delivery Updates
After your confirmation, you’ll receive another email letting you know your planned delivery or dispatch date.
2 Man Delivery Service
We use a 2-man delivery service for many of our larger item deliveries. We will let you know the dispatch day of your order and then the 2-man delivery service will then contact you directly with a delivery day with time slot.
No One Home?
In many cases, we can arrange for your items to be left in a safe place if you won’t be in. Just let us know when placing your order.
Stock & Multiple Deliveries
While we keep most items in stock, some products may be special orders or even come directly from the manufacturer. This may involve a different delivery charge or your order arriving in separate deliveries.
