SmartHinge is our casement-style, side-hinged secondary glazing.

Part of Omega Build’s made-to-measure secondary glazing range, SmartHinge is a single secondary glazing panel framed in white aluminium, secured with a toggle fixing, and hinged on one side for easy opening.

The panels are sold separately – left and right – so you will need to purchase one of each for a complete set.

How does SmartHinge secondary glazing open?

SmartHinge secondary glazing is really easy to open – when the toggle that shuts the panel to the window frame is released the panels will naturally swing open.

Can I add a handle to SmartHinge secondary glazing?

If you wish to add a handle to the SmartHinge range, you could add a stick in handle, but it’s not needed – the windows open very easily without a handle.

Is SmartHinge sold as a pair?

No. SmartHinge panels are sold individually – left and right.
