This is an Easyfix Secondary glazing kit. It is to be used for fixing 2mm, 3mm, 4mm plastic over a window for heat and sound insulation. It can be used both internally and externally.

The kit contains

5M of flexible edging strip in White or Clear and for 2mm-6mm glazing thickness.
24 white nylon fixing clips with wood screws.
1 Mitre Gauge (to cut the corners).
Full fitting instructions.

Easyfix can be used to fit your secondary glazing panel to either the opening window light to allow ventilation and use of the windows or to the main frame for maximum insulation and draught proofing. Where possible allow the secondary glass to overlap the frame by 10mm on each edge. It is important that there is a flat surface all the way round to ensure a good fit. Please ensure that all window furniture e.g. handles, stays, etc. fit within the recess.

Please remember to allow enough space around the outside of the secondary glazing panels for the clips (10mm). The clips are 9.5mm wide at the base, and high enough to enclose the thicknesses of glazing sheet that describe them including the clipglaze edging strip.

Offshore Deliveries
We do not deliver offshore as standard. However, we can deliver to a shipper in the UK of your choice. Just contact our team to check.
Collections
If you would prefer to collect from our factory in North Devon that can be arranged. Just contact the office and we can agree a collection date.
Delivery Days
We usually deliver Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Estimated Delivery Dates
You’ll find an estimated delivery period on most product pages. We do our very best to meet these estimates, but please note they are not guaranteed.
Special Delivery requirements
If you have specific delivery requests, such as safe drop-off locations or business hours - please include these details in the notes section during checkout.
Order Cut-Off Times
Orders placed after 10am, at weekends, or on a Bank Holiday will be processed on the next working day. Please keep this in mind if timing is important.
Order Confirmation
Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an email confirmation with the details. Please check this carefully and let us know straight away if there are any errors.
Delivery Updates
After your confirmation, you’ll receive another email letting you know your planned delivery or dispatch date.
2 Man Delivery Service
We use a 2-man delivery service for many of our larger item deliveries. We will let you know the dispatch day of your order and then the 2-man delivery service will then contact you directly with a delivery day with time slot.
No One Home?
In many cases, we can arrange for your items to be left in a safe place if you won’t be in. Just let us know when placing your order.
Stock & Multiple Deliveries
While we keep most items in stock, some products may be special orders or even come directly from the manufacturer. This may involve a different delivery charge or your order arriving in separate deliveries.
